Hey People!
I’m blowing through these products aren’t I? (I’m sure that is not grammatically correct but who cares! It’s my blog and I will write how I want to).
We are here together again to discuss my most recent empty from Mo Knows Hair. I remember buying a few products from the line because they were on sale at Sally Beauty 4 for $20. I used up 3 products but for whatever reason never finished the Curl Styling Potion.

With my hair products whittling down, I decided to revisit this product. My oh my! I don’t remember liking this product this much which leads me to believe that perhaps I was using it wrong. In looking at the packaging, It clearly states that it is a leave-in condition AND stlyer. I think when I used this product previously, I layered it with other products. This time, I used it alone. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
I used this exclusively for my wash & gos. I’ve been trying to figure out how to achieve a lightweight, bouncy yet still defined wash & go. I have very tight curls (3c/4a for anyone into the natural hair charts) and the issue I kept running into is either a product was too lightweight which lead my hair to being frizzy once dried. Or a product was too heavy which lead to my hair being defined and stiff.
This. This right here was the perfect marriage! It gave me enough hold to define my curls but was light weight enough to allow my hair to move and blow about. Initially when it dried my hair did have a hard cast that was easily broken with a little scrunching (no oil or additional product needed).

I’m not sure what magic Mo Knows Hair infused in this product but I found it to be like nothing else I’ve tried as a stand alone product. This styler includes marvelous ingredients like:
- Apricot Oil
- Argan Oil
- Marshmallow Root Extract
- Aloe Leaf Juice
- Vitamin E
- and more
This product does contain fragrance which is pretty high up on the ingredient list. The smell is pretty potent. The good thing is it does dissipate over time.
I will 100% be repurchasing this product! Let me know if you’ve used any of the products from Mo Knows Hair and what your experience was. In the mean time be sure to Like, Share, and Follow.
