I will try to keep this as short and sweet as possible.
I’ve always had a passion for writing. In high school I tried my hand at poetry. While it was okay it just didn’t hold my interest. When I think back over the course of my years on this earth, one thing has remained constant, journaling.
I am by nature more of a listener than a speaker. That is not to say I don’t have opinions about …..well, pretty much everything LOL. It just means I prefer to keep my thoughts and opinions to myself unless warranted. Given this is the age of technology and social media I wanted to partake in this new wave of communication in some fashion.
I’ve contemplated Vlogging via YouTube for months. However I do not have a camera that would provide me the quality and clarity of video that I would want to publish. Recently I tried a new social platform called Periscope. I quickly learned that maybe the Vlog life is not for me. It just felt too invasive. I watch entirely too many crime shoes like Bones, Criminal Minds, Stalker, etc. to be comfortable with that level of real-time interaction. Which led me to reevaluate how I could still go about publishing my random thoughts, days, and experiences???…….HMMMMMMMM ……..LIGHTBULB!!!!! Why not give blogging a try???? And so, here we are……
