If you missed my original post where I discuss the Tata Harper skincare set I ordered, please go back and read it.
The set came with a Rejuvenating Serum and Repairative Moisturizer. Because this was my first time trying out the products, I went to the website to see how they recommended using both products. On the website they not only gave a breakdown of the products, they also provide suggestions of what products to use together and how to layer them which I found to be really helpful.
From what I read on the website I decided to layer the serum and moisturizer.
I applied the serum first then the moisturizer. I also tried mixing both the serum and moisturizer together first, then applying to my skin which also worked just fine. I’m used to serums being more of an oil consistency so I was surprised that Tata’s Rejuvenating Serum felt and looked more like a moisturizer. It was very lightweight and absorbed into my skin like a dream. Within seconds it was gone! No oily or greasy residue. No shine. Nothing!
Same with the Repairative Moisturizer. Seconds after applying, it had completely sunken into the skin! No residue, no shine, no waiting around while the product absorbed. It was really amazing.
The smallest bottle of the serum is 30 ml and retails for $110. The moisturizer also retails for $110 for 50 ml. Do Are either products worth their price tag? It depends. I don’t think you have to go broke in order to get good skincare. Think about it, thats $220 pre tax and S&H for two items. That’s pretty expensive. Don’t get me wrong, both products were amazing. If you have the money to spend on skincare, I’d say go ahead and place your order. You won’t be disappointed. However if you don’t have that kind of money to spend on skincare I think you can find just as good and clean products for cheaper. Let’s be honest. Tata’s products are so expensive because you are paying in part for the packaging. All Tata Harper products come in really nice, heavy glass packaging which I’m sure are expensive for the company which increases the sale price for the consumer. Tata Harper is also a popular name brand in the clean skincare industry so you are also paying a little for the name.
All in all, if you have the money to spend, I’d recommend getting the products. If you don’t but still want to try them, I’d suggest either waiting for one of Sephora’s VIB sales or signing up for emails on Tata Harper’s website to receive a certain percentage off.
