Testing Out Tata Harper Skin Care

I’ve been dying to use Tata Harper for quite some time now. I never picked up anything because Tata is expensive! A few weeks ago I came across the Tata Harper skin care daily essentials set on Nordstrom’s website. The deal was 7 samples for $75 which isn’t bad seeing as one item from Tata Harper can easily run $75+.

The set included a serum, moisturizer, cleanser, essence, face mask, face oil, and an eye cream. Although Tata Harper is on the expensive side, her packaging is OUTSTANDING! The box that the products came in was nice and sturdy. Her signature packaging, which is green glass bottles with yellow lettering and gold tops, makes everything feel so luxurious.

As you can see from the photo to the right, the samples in the set were a pretty decent size (except the eye cream which came in a little packet). The set should last anywhere from 2 weeks to 30 days depending on how often you use the products and how heavy-handed you are when applying each product.

The main reason I finally decided to go ahead and order the set is because I recently welcomed a new bundle of joy. With her arrival I started thinking about not only what I was putting in my body, but also what I was putting on my body. In the back of my mind I knew things that you put on your skin get absorbed and enter the body. However I never really gave it a second thought. Until now. With me making the decision to breastfeed I’ve become more aware of what’s getting absorbed into my body and potentially passed on to my baby.

In a few years I may look back on this and think, “silly me! I was such a new mom….”, but for now I want to be careful of what I put on my skin. Tata Harper though expensive, is 100% natural with no yucky ingredients and no fillers. There’s also a pretty cool feature on the website that allows you to lookup when a product was made so you know exactly when it was batched and how old it is.

As I finish up the samples I will do dedicated posts for each product individually. Until then, feel free to peruse more articles and be sure to Follow and GET IN THE KNOW to automatically receive email notification of new content.
