It’s Monday and time for Makeup Monday! *yaaaayyyy*
My skin is sensitive and there is not a lot of stuff I can use to cleanse my face. I stumbled across the Erase Your Face cloths one day in Bed Bath & Beyond. I can’t remember what I was looking for but as I walked down the aisle, I saw these beauts hanging off the random strips that hang in the middle of aisles sometimes.
I remember hearing about the Erase Your Face cloths about a year prior on Its My Rae Rae’s Youtube channel. She demoed them and I thought it was a scam.
Basically how these cloths work is you simply wet them with warm water and wipe your face. Yup, it’s that easy. Now you see why I thought these were a scam. All you do throw them in the wash before using and you’re all good. They were only $10 so I decided to try them out.
I was all set to hate them and take them back to the store. I took the pink one out the pack, threw it in the wash, and waited. Finally! All done washing and drying, now, ready to use. I made sure to wear a full face of makeup to see just how well they worked. I ran the pink cloth under some warm water to saturate it, rung the excess out, and placed the rag on my face. As I began wiping my face I saw makeup on the cloth. I wipe, and wipe, and wipe and voila! All clean! My face not only feels clean it is clean. I didn’t believe it so I did a quick wash with my typical face cleanser expecting to see makeup residue in the sink but nope! Nothing. Crystal clear. I was amazed.
As a side: your face will have that extra dry feeling once you dry your face so be ready to moisturize. I’m not sure what’s in the cleansing cloths but its something. And whatever that something is, works. I’ve used and washed that initial pink cloth a few times and it still works like new.
Definitely give these a try if you are looking for a softer, gentler way to cleanse your face.
