Over the weekend I purchased 3 of the new Covergirl Melting Pout Liquid Lipsticks. First things first.
These are NOT, I repeat NOT liquid lipsticks. I would say an intense lipgloss. Maybe even a lip lacquer. But not a lipstick. With that said I think the product is great. Very pigmented, thick, and easy to apply. They wear very well. Is there transfer? Absolutely! However, as the product wears the color fades beautifully and evenly.
Two downsides. Some of the lighter shades and deeper shades are streaky. Secondly not all the shades are universal. Outside of that, if you come across a shade that speaks to you, it is absolutely worth picking up for $7.99.
