I’ve been a reading somebody this summer and I’d like to pat myself on the back.

When The Walking Dead television show debuted back in 2010, I was instantly hooked. After the first (maybe second) season ended, I found out the show was based on a graphic novel. I bought the books and the rest is history.
Since then, I’ve realized I LOVE graphic novels. I’ve read all The Walking Dead books, Locke & Key, Bitter Root, and Killadelphia just to name a few.
This summer I was home on leave with a lot of time on my hands so I decided to check out a mountain of books. Some geared towards young readers. Some geared towards young adults. Some strictly for adult, adults! But all graphic novels!
I want a way to memorialize all the books I’ve been reading. I mainly use my local library so I won’t go broke buying books. As you know, once you return the book(s) all you have left are your memories. So, I’ve decided to start a reading log!
I hope you ejoy!

Hi. I just started doing the same for many reasons, one of which is because I’ve wasted money purchasing books that I already had in my library. I rank the books and add a few comments about why I liked or disliked them.

What app do you use to track your books?

A lot of the apps cost money, and since I’m really trying to reduce my expenses and stick to a budget I went old school and downloaded a free, editable book reading log. You can read about it and find the link here: https://bookriot.com/2024-reading-log/.
