Amazon Prime Day

Hey People!

I’m sure you’ve been seeing all over social media, advertisements for Amazon Prime Day. I’m also sure that you’ve been seeing your social media fave posting their Prime Day Deals list. Am I right? Of course I am!

Whelp……….I am here to add my two cent and share my ideas on some items you may want to consider getting while they are on sale.

Some item’s I have tried personally. Some I want to buy but have not tried. And some will just be things I think may be good products. Okay?!

Now let’s get to it.

I have 4 list in my Amazon Storefront.

On my most recent trip abroad, I purchased this backpack and loved it. It’s summer so all the guys and girlies are gearing up for vacation. Do yourself a favor and make sure you get a good, sturdy, reliable travel backpack. I also bought hat clips, sunglasses travel case, and reusable makeup erasers. The one thing. THE ONE THING that I wish I would’ve purchased was a suitcase scale. One of our bags was overweight so we were the couple (me and my husband) at the check in counter scrambling and reshuffling things from one bag to another. If we would have purchase a scale from amazon, we could’ve saved ourself some grief.

*All of these items and more can be found here*

Tech can get expensive so if you are or have been eyeing a big ticket item, now is the time to get it. A few years ago I got into a car accident and have had issues with cramping in my right leg ever since. Last year, I started looking for possible solutions and came across leg messagers. The one I’ve had my eye on not only messages but heats up!

I’ve also been working on some side hustles and have realized how much easier it is to work on those side hustles from a desktop with a large screen (I’ve had bad eye sight since 6th grade). I’ve thought about getting a Mac but am not sure I want to pull the trigger just yet. Lately, I’ve been seeing Mac minis and am VERY intrigued. Seems they work just like desktops for a fraction of the price. You just have to get your own monitor. They have new and reused ones for various price points depending on how much memory you need and which processor chip you choose. (note: the renewed ones are a fraction of a fraction of the cost of an iMac. (the one below is new but I also have renewed ones in my Storefront.)

If you’ve been around for awhile. You may remember me talking about The Walking Dead and how much I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the books. They are so much better than the TV show. The comic has many issues so I would recommend getting the compendiums (that’s what I did).

Going back to my most recent trip abroad, I got a new graphic novel called Bitter Root. The comic is created and illustrated by all black creators! The graphics are on point. The story is nuanced. And, there are three volumes. If you don’t want to buy them separately, all three volumes are comprised in one book called Bitter Root: Omnibus. If you are the least bit interested, do yourself a favor and just get the omnibus. Once you start reading you won’t be able to put it down.

I’ve also been on a personal finance journey the past few years. Two books I’ve read are Get Good With Money by Tiffany Aliche and I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi. Both can be found on my Reading List.

If you are a press-on nail girlie or have been wanting to try press-on nails, now’s the time! Get you some from Mari by Marsai Martin. She has long nails, short nails. Rounded shape, almond shape. Classic colors for you minimalist and bright colors if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous. All of her nails are on sale now! I think I’m going to get these.

Lastly, let’s get into some hair stuff. If you have a child that wears beads then you know the struggle of trying to corral all of those little balls into one place. Let alone trying to organize them by color, shape, maybe even material. SPARE YOURSELF! Spare yourself walking through the house and stepping on random beads that have cracked or fallen out. Spare your nerves the stress of trying to color code beads for the next hairstyle only to find a hodgepodge of all things in your ziploc bag. Get you a bead organizer and thank me later.

While we are on the topic of beads. Nothing is worse then those flimsy plastic rubberbands. They break easily causeing all kinds of disruption to your hairstyle. I still use rubber rubberbands and my favorite have been the ones from Amelia Beauty.

The last thing I am going to mention is a blow dryer. Last christmas I bought myself a Dyson blowdryer (and I don’t regret it). Because it is such a costly blowdryer I don’t want to travel with it. What if it gets broken? What if the airline losses my luggage (or steals my shit, let’s be honest. It happens)? I’d be PISSED!

If you are like me and find yourself not wanting to travel with your super expensive blowdryer. I recommend getting an el cheapo. Of the ones on Amazon, this is the one I would get.

It folds down for easy packing and has multiple nozzels to suit your drying needs. It also seems to have decent power so you girls with thick hair won’t have to stand there for hours on end.

I am going to stop here. I think I’ve offered quite a few things to look in to. You can find everything mentioned above and so much more over in my Amazon Storefront.

Thank you in advance to any and everyone who decides to shop using my links. I do earn a commission if and only if you decide purchase something. I did the research so you don’t have to. I thoughtfully put together my storefront in an effort to make finding what you need easier.

If you participate in Prime Deal Day, let me know what you get!
