Lunch

Hey people!

One day this week I was able to get out and take a walk for lunch. I decided to stop by the grocery store and create my own lunch. The only things I could really eat and gravitated towards was the salad bar. There were so many different options outside of a classic salad. There are 4 different salads in the photo below.

Starting on the left is a classic salad. I used baby kale as my base. Then topped it with grapes, pineapples, blueberries, tomatoes, and chickpeas.

Top Right: Is an Oriental Salad. I love anything containing noodles which is why I wanted to try it. Unfortunately it was not good.Very oily. I was not a fan.

Middle Right: Was a grain superfood salad. I can not remember all the ingredients. All I remember is Quinoa. It was VERY good though.

Bottom Right: Was……………..ahhhhhhh…….I can’t remember the name of this one! It contained broccoli, mango, corn, tomato, carrots, and greens. Tossed in a light dressing. This was also VERY good.

Hopefully the cold is behind us and the weather will stay decent. If that’s the case, I look forward to getting out more to try some new things. And probably a few oldie’s but goodie’s!

Next time you are in your local grocery store, be sure to check out their build you own salad section. Especially the more upscale grocery stores.

Leave a comment, let me know if you had anything fantastic for lunch this week. Also, don’t forget to Like, Share, and FOLLOW before you go!
