As spooky season winds down, I thought I’d share a short list of kid friendly books we read every year.

All three books in the “Creepy” series are so much fun. They became quick favorites in our house. In each story, Jasper Rabbit faces situations that cause him fright. He must decide what’s real and what’s imagination. He also has to problem solve how to rid himself of the things that are causing creepy situations to happen.
Grumpy Monkey is always a good time and this book is no different.
Beware, Beware, the Noise Out There is a Barnes and Noble exclusive (at least it was at the time we got it). It’s such a fun, interactive book. It tells the story of two kids who wander out of bed after dark and the noises they hear. Each page has multiple silver buttons that play the sounds described. This is probably the book my kiddo looks forward to reading most every year!
