The quick and dirty about Transformers One (no spoilers).
Synopsis: Transformers One is the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron before they were bestowed those names. Starting as friends, naive to the world around them, driven by a need for more. Life takes them on a journey to uncover the truth. The truth about their world, their past, and their place in it. Armed with the truth, they must decide what path to take.
Quick Thoughts (again, no spoilers): As a person who was familiar with Transformers growing up but was too young for the 80s animates series. I got into the Tranformer-verse, during the Michael Bay, Shia LaBeouf era. What those movies never clearly explained was the origin story. How did Optimus come to be OPTIMUS? How did Megatron come to lead the decepticons? What was Cybertron like before it was destroyed? Transformers One answers those questions and so much more.
Fun Fact: Transformers One is the first fully computer-generated animated movie.
If you are the slightest bit into Transformers, I highly recommend Transformers One which is in theaters September 20, 2024.
